I know we don’t usually admit this to ourselves, but sometime the reason why we aren’t happy is because somewhere deep down inside, we don’t believe we deserve happiness. So affirm today that you deserve to be happy.
I’m doing some original research on positive affirmations for 60 days. Do you want to be part of the study? You must say the affirmation to yourself, especially in the mirror, all day, even if you don’t believe it! At the end of 60 days, I’ll have some questions. You must not tell anyone else you’re doing this (so they don’t discourage you!). Let me know if you want to participate. If you do, start with Affirmation #1. Get a small notepad. Write down the affirmation and how many times you say it, and when. Write down how it makes you feel to say the affirmation. During the day, replace any “negative talk” inside you head with the positive affirmation.
